Report to Charminster Parish Council

A lot of changes have taken place in the Charlton Down Nature Area over the last three years. It looks very different now after we have spent time re-wilding the site. This report to the Charminster Parish Council is an attempt to describe in detail what we have been doing, why we are doing it, and how it is taking place. It is a long account with many illustrations because I wanted to tell the story giving full credit to all the the hard work of the volunteers who are making the transformation happen.

At the AGM Meeting of the site owners, Charminster Parish Council, I will only have 10 minutes to report on the activities of the Charlton Down Nature Area Group, and it will not be possible to give the full presentation – only the headlines.

If you are one of the Parish Councillors, I hope that you will find the time to scroll through the full presentation before the meeting on the 7 April. But if you are short of time, there is also a summary generated by AI (minus the images).
