It doesn’t snow very often in Dorset, England. So I was delighted when Garry Prescott, one of our volunteers, was able to take these drone photographs showing the few inches of snow that fell on the Charlton Down Nature Area and Community Orchard over a couple of days back in November 2024. I think it looks beautiful and very suitable to display at Christmas time. It was cold enough for our new pond to freeze right over for the first time.
